@Cesca thank you for this x

@Cesca sorry to jump on your message but can I ask which ones helped you concieve? X

@Katy tbh i think all of them would have! The ‘freak athletics’ brand helped me conceive my 3yo - i was hoping it would kickstart my periods, didnt get one so thought they werent working - turns out i was pregnant! Also conceived taking the pink and purple bottle (nutravita) which unfortunately ended in miscarriage. Then more recently the ‘Free Soul’ brand - currently 39 weeks pregnant! Had been trying for 2 years prior to starting myo-inositol where nothing happened and cycles were averaging 85 days. On myo-inositol they shortened to an average of 32-35 days. I will say, the irregular cycles were my biggest symptom- i gained weight but only 20kg overall so not as severely as some others get it. Couple of chin hairs here and there and slight reduction in hair thickness on my hairline. So I’m hoping the supplements didn’t only work so well for me because my symptoms overall werent too severe and that they’ll work for others that have more extreme symptoms too.

I think a 40:1 ratio of myo-inositol to d-chiro inositol is recommended. Also, the supplements seemed to improve my mental health too - reduced anxiety and woolly headed ness. I also have ADHD and the supplements definitely improved those symptoms too! All in all I couldn’t recommend myo-inositol more - worth a try to see if it works for you too for sure.

@Cesca ohhh I’ve just ordered the free soul ones! I’m currently taking different gummy ones but don’t think they’ve done much so wanted to change them so this makes me hopeful! I’m currently on metformin too as I was only diagnosed about 2 months ago. And currently on my first period after having a 125 day cycle 😭😅 hoping this month is our month🙏🙏

@Katy keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you. I just remembered a couple other things - spearmint tea (not peppermint!) is great for hair issues. This helped me for sure. Also if you search Kym Campbell PCOS (there is a good FB group) she has a diet to follow that has seemingly helped lots of people. I’m already dairy free and have zero discipline so I knew it wasn’t worth trying for me haha.

Oh I’ll have a look, Thankyou! & I’m the same! Really struggle to maintain diets haha
