Braxton Hicks

When is it likely to get Braxton Hicks? I’m 25 weeks. How will I know the difference between Braxton Hicks and actual contractions? It’s my first baby! Thank you

Some people never feel Braxton Hicks, some people feel them from around 26 weeks. Everyone is different. ☺️ With actual contractions, you won’t be able to hold a conversation and will likely be bracing yourself by holding on to something because of the pain (this is what my midwife has told me). ☺️

I know by how I get them. Started getting them about week 25/26 and it was only if I walked far or stood for a long time. Now I’m 36 weeks and I get them most days unless I’m in three positions, on my ball, laying down or reclining in a chair. I guess you know it’s not the real thing because braxton hicks goes when you get comfy again where as contractions will be back and become worse 😂.

I’m 32 weeks on Saturday and I haven’t had any

I’m 20w and had them since 16w 🤷🏼‍♀️
