My early nicu baby!

I won’t even lie, I just want to show him off. I’m obsessed with him. My birth story is traumatic and scary. And yes, he was born a month and half early almost. But he’s such a strong little guy & just so perfect in our eyes. First picture is day 1 second is day 5. He’s weighing about 4.5lbs right now, and will take a little less than 2 oz of food. As of now, he’s still doing most feeds via nose tube. But is starting to root around if we do skin to skin. And has taken some by bottle Right now, they can’t really give me a timeline. He’s only 6 days old. But definitely by his due date, he’ll be home with us 💕

Congratulations! He looks so well. I had a 30 weeker, she was in NICU for 5 weeks so still came home well before her due date. She’s a bossy almost 3 month old now 😅
