SMP
Can anyone confirm if I am entitled to SMP? I started my current job on 7th August 2024 starting my maternity 6th Feb. I thought I had to work 26 weeks but now I'm not sure?

You won’t be entitled to SMP from employer but you are entitled to maternity allowance off the government! Xx

You do have to have worked 26 weeks before the 15th week before your baby is due to get smp. You should qualify for maternity allowance though.
