Anyone taking Progesterone in 2nd/3rd trimester?

I went in to hospital at 26 weeks for nonstop cramps and period pains and was given progesterone pessaries whilst there then prescribed oral progesterone when discharged. Problem is I’m currently in Romania and don’t speak the language so I don’t know how long I’m supposed to take it for, and midwife in the UK said she didn’t understand why they’ve told me to take it. Just wondering if anyone else has had a similar experience being prescribed it this late in pregnancy? Also since starting to take it I’ve been so tired like I can’t do anything is that normal?! And also the last 5/6 days I’ve had the runs 🙈 Thanks in advance for any insights!!
