Sick after holidays
I'm due to go back to work tomorrow after the holidays but we're all sick. While we're sick I have no one to watch the baby as they don't want to get sick too. What would my options be if I really couldn't go in?

If you're sick, stay home. We live in a world where we feel like we can no longer put our needs before our employers needs and that needs to change I just had a spat with my employer bc I told her that my daughter has lots of physical therapy appointments and they said we can't always make it work and i politely told them the fuck they can so 🤷🏽♀️
Just call in sick in the same way you would if you didn't have a baby. The baby isn't the issue here since you're unwell yourself.

I don’t think you have many options but to call in sick. Either the fact that you are actually sick or that you have no childcare are perfectly acceptable reasons to not go to work.
