Can u get fit in your first trimester?

Like I have a nice shape but honestly, I was tryna get into shape before I got pregnant. I want tryna get pregnant in the first place. But I want to get in shape so I can snap back. And I noticed that when I work out, no matter how hard, I don’t see no results. I’m still bloated and my ankles still fat. This not normal for me. But has anybody got into shape their first trimester?

Only from vomiting everyday and low appetite. Do not recommend. Even this time around I gained quickly even with changing eating habits.

You’re bloated with fat ankles because you’re pregnant, not because you’re unfit! Please go and do some reading about the changes you can expect from your body during pregnancy and beyond so you don’t spend the time anxiously trying to counteract very natural and necessary biological changes. It’s great to exercise during pregnancy - the rule tends to be not to start anything new but to continue whatever you were doing before you got pregnant - but do it for the sake of being fit, strong and healthy, not to somehow avoid natural pregnancy symptoms!

It’s normal to be bloated during pregnancy. You’ll have extra water in your body which will cause the “fat” ankles. There’s not much that can be done about the bloating or ankles. Definitely worth reading about the different changes to expect during pregnancy on your body x

I’m vomiting and low appetite every day, eating 2 small bowls of rice a day at best most days and I’m still gaining water weight. No way you can “get fit” girl your body will not let you. Gotta embrace that your body needs to feel safe in abundance and rest during this time

I get that’s it’s normal but I was just wondering if anyone was able to get in shape that’s all
