Anyone else's baby hate pram suits/snowsuits?

My little girl hates being put in her pram or snowsuit and it's making it really hard to get out in this weather, she screams when I put it on. Occasionally I can get her to be calm having it put on but as soon as I go near the pram with her in it she screams and cries until she's choking it's awful. I've tried putting it on in our porch where it's really cold so she doesn't get too hot and always take her outside straight away but she just straight up doesn't tolerate it. I normally just have her in a fluffy coat and fleece leggings with a blanket but it seems to cold for just this at the moment. Anyone had any similar issues? I just seem to see other babies happy as larry in their massive coats chilled out in the pram 😢

She's not a fan of the super thick padded ones because she's got absolutely 0 movement in it but we have a few fleece type ones that she's OK with, I just layer her up a bit in that.

Yeah I can’t get my boy in the big poofy ones without a screaming match bless him but I got a thin waterproof one in a size up and he’s ok with that with more layers underneath

Have you tried them in a fleecy star blanket? Can get some good deals on Vinted if you search for starsnug. ☺️

It’s pretty normal. They’re really restrictive. Just layer up with jumpers and extra trousers/tights

My girl also hates them because of how restricted it makes her movement. We layer up and just use a normal coat. We also use the foot muff on the pram although some days she’ll pull her legs over the top still - I’ve seen that Sainsburys sell foot muffs to go on prams if yours doesn’t have one x

I put a thin snowsuit as thick ones shouldn't be worn in car seats and we have a travel system, and then layer up with blankets. She hates the thick snowsuit but will tolerate it once it is on as it restricts her movement too
