Stressed
Trying to plan my babies first birthday and nothing is going right. Can’t find a place to host it my parents can’t host it and neither can my husbands parents. Can’t find a cake. Practically everyone we want to invite can’t make it. My husband just got fired from his job on Christmas Day. I’m working crazy hours to keep money coming in. It’s just been crazy. I am so stressed and I want to make sure this is the best first birthday for my little one. You only get 1 first birthday. I’m trying to keep it together for my husband cause he’s stressed to.

Why can't u host in your own house? Its a first birthday, it doesn't have to be a big deal! Just a few balloons, a shop bought cake and some party food!
Relax, he won’t remember his first birthday. I bet all he wants is some quality time with his favorite people. Don’t be so hard on yourself 🙂
Dairy queen has ice cream cake my daughters first birthday was 2 days ago and I bought a cake for 45 and she didn't have much decoration only a banner, high chair banner and a candle that I bought off of Amazon for a decent price
Local libraries book the meetings room for free!! We're also just doing a group outing to one of the museums! But for my girls first we just had a couple friends over

Hobby lobby and dollar store have great decorations, and renting a space at the park is cheap. I would just get a sheet cake from Walmart or make cupcakes yourself for guests. If you’re not going to have people there you can find a local place that he hasn’t been to and have a super fun family day (idea museum, uptown jungle) ofc those are in my area but I’m sure you have some in yours too.
