Im a full time SAHM, my gym offers free daycare but my 2 yr old loses it any time I try to leave her. Her dad travels a lot for work so everything is on me most of the time. I need to work out for my mental health. any advice ?
Hi I was in the same boat but the last month had been amazing, what had worked for me is being consistent I for 6 days a week and stay for and hour and a half, so it’s now a routine for him, when we get there he takes off his shoes, stretches for the hand sanitizer…..he already knows what to do. In the beginning I was only doing 30 mins on a good day because he would cry so we worked or way up to and hour and a half now, don’t give up, just try to stay consistent.
I’ve left her a few times but each time seemed like a more traumatic event one after another. Did you just leave him crying for you in the beginning?
