It doesn’t have to be weird (most fathers I’ve seen give their daughter a peck on the cheek after walking her down the aisle) but this specific circumstance is weird and a bit gross.
I don’t even think the kiss is the issue. The overall issue is that she shouldn’t have even been at the wedding if the relationship is that toxic.

I think by now we all should know some grown men do this with their mom’s and although it gives me the ick and I’d never do this with my grown boys, it doesn’t mean it’s weird or wrong, I guess 🥴 But I’d love to know how the bride feels about it. @Zaza yeah tbh I feel like it is more prevalent with single moms or moms who are basically married single parents. It’s like their sons become surrogate partners and they raise their sons to be the perfect man in their eyes so then they also get inconceivable jealous at the thought of their sons having romantic partners because they put so much work into creating the perfect guy and they don’t get to reap the rewards, some undeserving hussy does and they just have to watch it 💀

@Autumn I am no psychologist but I think that a lot of these boy moms have really terrible partners so they are raising their sons to be better men and the idea of another woman one day benefiting from that makes them jealous. Or they have terrible relationships with their fathers. I dunno. It’s weird as hell.

I love my son more than words can describe, but I WANT him to grow up and find a woman who will love him and who he loves infinitely. I'm sure I'll feel nostalgic for these fun, sweet days of childhood, but I hope he grows up and starts his own family and gets to create these same memories with his kids someday. This weird "boy mom" in love with their son stuff is...concerning to say the least 🤢!

I haven't seen the video but I'm from a family that lip kiss for hello and goodbye, and it's 3 pecks in a row, my brother is 38 years old and still kisses my mom and dad on the lips, my dad is 58 years old and still kisses his mom and dad on the lips, it is not sexual in any way it's just how our family is. Each family is different and no one knows what other people's families do.
