Venting I guess idk but I’m worried. Long post so read at will lol.

So it’s my second pregnancy and at 5 weeks 4 days I had bleeding, like it was a lot so I called went in and we found out I have a place below baby that is bleeding and was causing it. The ob said most moms that have it ends up absorbing it, but for some reason I’m releasing it but baby was doing great. The ob also told me no heavy lifting, take it easy and pretty much bed rest as much as possible. Well I went back for my actual appointment at 7 weeks 4 days and the ob kinda just brushed it off and acted like it wasn’t a big deal and that the ob before shouldn’t have said any of that and was being over dramatic. Which I didn’t like her or anything she was saying. I had a c-section with my son and this on is pushing for me to pick doing a c-section again even though I’m set on having a vbac unless it’s a emergency I want the vbac. Thankfully this should be the only time I see this ob because it’s a rotating office and the ob normally is never the same. I’m now 8 weeks 6 days and everything the second ob said to me still isn’t sitting right with me and I’m scared to pick up my son or do anything because I don’t wanna risk the baby. I go back the 31st and will be 12 weeks and have to do a glucose test and since I will be there for a hour I’m hoping they will do another ultrasound to make sure the bleeding has stopped and to make sure baby is still okay and it’s not affecting baby at all. Plus at my 7 week 4 days and ultrasound I still had the place and it was still bleeding. I still have spotting some which is why I’ve keep doing with the first ob said because she just seemed like she knew better than the second one.

Subchronic hemorrhage i was told i have the samething my ob said the placenta most likely attached to scarred tissue from my previous c section she told me everytime i get a ultrasound she will monitor the size unless she see it growing or unless im in extreme pain or having lots of bleeding she is not worried they usually resolve it self

I also have a almost 2 year old i do pick her up but that’s the heaviest i lift my bby is jus 17 pounds she a little thing

@Ciara okay that makes me feel so much better. Did they say if you would get anything extra done during the pregnancy to keep an eye on it or anything like that.

No she said only would get extra if she notice it’s growning

@Ciara okay thank you. So far I’ve had 2 ultrasounds and the tech said it looks smaller but I still have spotting from it which I guess is causing me to worry. My son is 40lbs and likes being carried but I’m so scared to pick him up.

I still have spottin an some cramping my doctor said don’t worry unless it’s heavy bleeding so i have been trying to not worry

I had this with my daughter. I ended up being on pelvic rest until like 12 weeks but did still pick up my 15 pound dog. And your body is used to lifting your baby so it should be fine just don't do it more than needed or try sitting rather than walking, etc. Mine cleared up and was fine but it was sooo stressful. Hang in there!

Hi! I had a subchronic hemotoma - went to the ER bc I was bleeding a lot, ER doctor didn’t say anything about pelvic rest, just no sex or putting anything in my vagina. My doctor called the next day, she said you can take it easy and moderate exercise was fine. Had my ultrasound 2 weeks later and everything was normal! Doctor was also nonchalant about it and said i don’t need to change any activity. Was still spotting, but they should be able to tell you if the hemotoma is still there. Everything online contradicts itself too! Stopped spotting now at 9wks, feel your pain bc nothing is clear!

@Kiki i totally agree when i was reading online they was all so negative saying it wouldn’t get better i havent had a ultrasound since the ER but i still have some brown spotting every now an again i still haven’t been doin any heavy lifting
