Toddler bed

Is anyone's little one in a toddler bed?? If so how did the transition go?? And if not when are you doing it?? I'm not sure when to put my son into a toddler bed, he isn't attempting to climb out of it yet but he's weighing over 2st now and he's tall. So just looking for a bit of advice please. Thank you.

We put ours in a single bed against the wall with a bed guard. Child proofed his room and he’s pretty good at staying in his bed x

We’ve had a single bed since 15m. A few little tumbles as he got used to it but none in a long long time now.

@Adial just before 2, had a monitor in his room and anytime he went to get out of bed we told him to lie down and he did x

It was pretty horrendous for us 😅 had to do it about 6 months ago as he kept climbing out of the cot. (It is fine now) but we had about 3 months of him coming out of his room, screaming, crying, doing everything to prevent going to sleep, sometimes it could take 2 hours to get him to sleep. If he didn’t learn to climb out the cot I would have delayed it for as long as I could. It’s taken every night since to be consistent with bedtime it’s been a bloody ballache but we’re there now. It does mean that he’s getting in with us in the middle of the night now though 😅 hope it goes smoothly for you xxx

We’ve just put our lg into a single bed and it’s gone really well, she doesn’t get out at all even in the morning x
