My husband earns about 2k after tax, think that’s 32k. Unfortunately it’s just enough for the big household bills.. thanks x
Use turn2us or entitledto, very accurate
I think 32k would be over the threshold for UC If you know you’re going to be losing your job, I would get looking asap x
@Scarlett 🥺I am a locum so they can drop you any day, struggling to get a permanent post specially part time 🥺 Already maxed my savings and more from the first couple of month in this new city 🥲 Thanks for your comments everyone I am trying to find another but I just know there’s gonna be another gap
You could reach out to your local recruitment agency, they are great at helping people get a job fast! I use them anything I switch to a new employer. Also I believe they normally have a lot of temp work so even if it’s something short term for you x
Think it depends on your husband’s earnings and housing costs! There is a calculator online if you type UC calculator into Google. It will ask about your earnings and your husband’s earnings, dependants etc, so just say your earnings are 0 because they obviously would be if you do end up losing your job, then it should come up with a rough figure of your entitlement
