Starting nursery 😩

My girl is starting nursery this week and is doing a day and a half I just want to know what to expect in terms of how poorly she’s going to be all the time … what are others experiences of this ? My girl has cmpa and is a fussy eater I’m worried she’s not going to eat much at nursery … has anyone seen an improvement in the ammount they eat? What do you generally bring with you on the first day for them? Thank you in advance ❤️

My LG started last week and does two days a week, I packed - Nappies Wipes Cream Hat/gloves Spare clothes/socks Spare dummies Sleeping bag Comforter Bottle just in case but we have cut all daytime milk And she came home Thursday with a cold 😅

My baby eats things at nursery she would never eat for me and has started using her water cup herself as well. They are also able to lie her down and pat her to sleep whereas we have to hold her to sleep! She seems to have come on so much since starting! No sickness yet but its only been a few weeks. They should tell you what you- ours has a box for each baby so you send in nappies, wipes, cream and spare clothes plus anything like dummy or sleepsack and they can keep those so you dont need to send them in everyday but every place is different.

We have a cold already. We packed Nappies 3 spare outfits Socks Coat Dummies Comforter Daytime bottle for water.l Wipes He ate sandwiches at nursery and outright refuses for me 🤣

We have been getting colds/fever approx every 2 weeks, but after the first two months, it’s finally becoming a bit less frequent

Feel free to message me! My lo just started and is CMPA x

My little one has been at nursery since she turned 8 months, you should expect her to only be well 1 week per month 😂 my little one has almost constantly been ill with something, but it could just be her immune system and the age she started. And it definetly got worse when it got colder. My little one didn't get better at eating at nursery, but I do work there with her so I'm assuming that's why. She has slowly been getting better as I cut milk out though. Also as for what you should pack is calpol if you want the nursery to use it anytime she has a high temperature, wipes, nappies, spare clothes to keep at nursery and spare clothes in her bag every day (I find sometimes one set of spare clothes isn't enough), any nappy creams you use, cup/bottle unless you want to use the one your nursery may provide (some don't provide), bibs, I personally pack a teether attached to a dummy clip and I would also say snacks to have on the way home (in my experience nurseries won't touch your snacks)

My wee boy started last week, he’s a day and a half as well. I’m back at work tomorrow. So I know how you feel! He didn’t eat much and slept a little bit but I figure it’s a new environment and a big change. I’m glad he did that much. He is going through a phase of not eating much right now anyway so the fact he had anything at his nursery is a good thing.

My little one started in September at 9months old and had a cold on and off for 7 weeks. He seems okay atm. He had also got a cmpa and they are very good with him, he eats mostly everything they offer him. My nursery supplies everything, wipes, nappies etc i just need to take his formula until it runs out then they supply his milk alternative, i take his tummy and comforters and a change of clothes. Xx
