Advice

Hey ladies 🙂 I’m considering a move to Edinburgh (I currently stay in Fife) we just feel like for me there will be better work opportunities and my partner works over here so would be better for him too. I know like everywhere there are rough parts and ideally I want to avoid them best I can. So just looking to see what the best areas in Edinburgh are to stay, and also which schools are better at dealing with bullying. My daughter gets bullied because she has alopecia and has to wear wigs, so ideally I want a school that will deal with it correctly as she’s had a lot of issues with SH etc because the school didn’t deal with it ☹️ Any advice is appreciated 💖

Hey, 4 years ago I moved from Dalkeith(Midlothian it’s 12 miles from the city center)to Kennoway. But I stayed there for 22 years and I moved for a quieter way of life and it’s a hell of a lot cheaper here. Midlothian is a lovely area but I would avoid Woodburn and gore bridge . I stayed in Newtongrange and it’s lovely there. East Lothian is a fair bit more expensive but just as nice if not nicer. Would avoid wallyford and Musselburgh. Any question happy for you go message me xx

It really depends on your budget to be honest

We stay in North Edinburgh and are really happy. Stockbridge, Craigleith, Corstorphine, Blackhall are all really nice areas in the North.
