Maternity leave question

So I started my maternity 5th June 2024. Will 9 months be 5th March 2025? Will that be my last maternity pay? I’m having a year off so will I not be paid after 9 months?
My works are not very good at communicating and no support.

You get 39 weeks of maternity pay which should take you up to 4th march I think. I started mine on the same day as you but that’s just off the top of my head x

9 months are paid, last three months are unpaid. It SUCKS! I am not looking forward to it
I’ve noticed my pay has gone down after 6 months. Is this normal for your mat pay to go down?
Yeah mine stops then too. Re. Dropping at 6 months, that might depend on your company’s policy. If you’ve been getting more than just statutory up until then, it might now have dropped to statutory x

Basing it off of my mat pay breakdown. I would say you should get paid roughly up till the end of April (my mat leave started WC 24th June and my last SMP will be WC 17th March) anytime taken after this is not paid. It may be worth seeing if you can get any help from UC or something though? And don’t forget any holidays you may have remaining, I’m using my accrued BHs and holiday for the whole of April (mine renews in May) Hope this helps and makes sense!
