dairy free blw meal ideas

my 7 month old is barely interested in eating but she loves wafers, melty sticks etc. so i’m wondering if it’s the “meals” i’m offering she’s not interested in however i feel like it’s so hard to think of ideas to make her as she’s allergic to milk the dietician has sent us some info and recipe ideas but haven’t yet received this in the post and i’m just wondering what i could make she’s already had the milk-free banana pancakes but she’s not keen (probably cos im not the best cook and slightly overdid them😂) if anyone has any simple, easy ideas that would be great, thank you!!

Veggie pasta, chicken & sweetcorn croquettes, scrambled eggs with toast. My little girls 5 months old and also has a milk allergy and I was looking at this website for when I start her on food x

My 8 month old despises food and also has a milk allergy. My 8 year old loved BLW and no milk allergy so I feel like I’m learning what to do all over again 😂 The kiddylicious bedtime blend pouch is my go to in order to get any type of food into him. I’ve offered everything we eat but he has no interest. Pasta, rice, chicken curry, spaghetti, eggy bread, cottage pie, chicken drumsticks, bbq ribs, toast with milk free pesto or smooth peanut butter, avocado, every type of fruit and every type of veggie, porridge, weetabix, melty puffs, Ella’s kitchen snacks, organix snacks, sweet potato fritters, falafels, meatballs, pork chops, vegan sausages (only as they’re low salt).

Make your normal meals but instead of cows milk use oat, instead of butter use coconut oil (baking)/olive oil (savoury), instead of cheese use vegan cheese (aldi mature Cheddar is the most palatable I've found)/vegan cheese spread (philadelphia is really good)/nutritional yeast (great for sprinkling on/in pasta to get that savoury, cheesy flavour and super good for you!) Sacla vegan pesto is really good on pasta with nutritional yeast. Most ready made puff pastry is dairy-free so you can make pinwheels with lots of different fillings.

Get yourself a good weaning book! We use "what mummy makes" and it's brilliant! I just substitute the dairy like milk and cheese for alternatives and it's been great 🙂

I substitute milk with coconut milk/oat milk and I’ll use a plant based cheese to substitute cheese for my daughter. She currently is doing well on milk ladder atm so I am hoping it continues bless her x
