3 weeks is a very small amount of time especially if your just starting and it’s as much on you as it is on her .when we were training my daughter id feel like 1 hard day where mommy couldn’t give it her all would unravel a weeks worth of training .it was frustrating. But that being said we would work in singing our abcs anytime we were on the potty (it seemed to relax her) also naked at home and any time we left I tried to put her in her favorite clothes cause she wouldn’t want to ruin them with peepee. No pull-ups
You could try oh crap. It’s a nice booster start in 3 days. But unless she is already ready, it may not be possible. Try not to pressure too much. They can tell when we have an agenda.
I also used the Oh Crap method (naked - watch like a hawk & put on potty when they need to go & learn their cues / commando / underwear). It took about a week of many accidents but it clicked then another week of smaller accidents so I think 3 weeks may be do-able. I borrowed the ebook & audiobook using my library card. It can def feel scary for sure but try not to let her see that from you bc she may pick up on the emotion. You got this!! :)
I would definitely give Oh Crap a try. Fair warning though, we tried that with our toddler and he simply didn't care that he was peeing everywhere lol in fact he thought it was very cool 🙃 I eventually gave up and then one day he just told me he didn't want diapers anymore and that was that
Some kids are terrified of pooping on the potty. To them it feels like they are falling into the toilet because of the extra strain. Having the magnetic kids potty seat that is attached to the toilet lid it’s a huge advantage as it provides more stability. Some also put and open diaper under them on the toilet at first just for a familiar feel before transitioning them to just the toilet. Just check on your kids emotions and see if that’s an issue that needs to be addressed.
The thing that’s working for us, is regular underwear, on the potty every 30 minutes, no books/toys on the potty, and a reward chart. We also got a stool and an attached kid toilet seat so when the timer on her watch goes off, she knows to go sit on the potty. The underwear helps her feel the feeling of being wet when she pees. No pull-ups, it’s the same as diapers
