Noah for our boy.

We love the name Noah but I have an accent and since I moved to the US have been teased for how I say “No” (yes, I’m Australian). Am I setting myself up for more if I give my son this name?

Naur

I say go for it xx

SORRY! Very insensitive of me. But honestly I find it wild people tease you because of that! I think accents like that are super cute!! If you like the name. You go for it.

Who cares , if that’s what you want to make your son . Do it !!! Even if you have an accent nobody else will say his name like you do . My mom is Filipino , & nobody says our names like she does. & your son should want to know or see a little bit of who your are, his heritage.. I’m sure Australia is different than here. He should know that ! Makes it something special about him

I’m not sure if it’s the same in US, but in UK we love the accent so imitation is pure flattery. If you love the name do it!

naurah still sounds cute so tell em go suck it. saying it in my head and im smiling. don’t let them make you feel a type of way about your accent ! personally i love it and theyre probably just jealous anyway. most of them americans are bitter
