Any special needs moms that homeschool??

Hi!! I homeschool my 3 kiddos, two are neurodivergent. What would you like to know? 🙂

I am not yet. My boys are almost 3 and 4, but I plan to look into k-12 online and my local charter schools and then decide what system works best for us. Having autism they both have very different needs, and I want to accommodate them the best I can.

@Kayla MY OLDEST IS 6 AND YOUNGEST IS 2 SO I'M CURRENTLY ONLY WORRIED ABOUT MY OLDEST MY YOUNGEST CAN ALSO START LEARNING JUST BY BEING AROUND

I have my 6 year old in something called Abeka it’s homeschool but I pay for it…We were having problems with her teacher so I took her out and it’s working better for us at home since our schedule is so hectic and I chose the time of day that I want to start her school.

I’m not a special needs momma but I wanna homeschool too and know more about it bc most homeschool kids don’t get diplomas is what I was told I wanna go through a program where she gets her diploma

@Cheyenne THEY DO RECEIVE DIPLOMAS IT'S JUST NORMALLY HANDED OUT BY THE PARENTS AND NOT THE SCHOOL SYSTEM
