Sign up for gym

I’ve finally done it and sign up and I’m so anxious bout going and looking stupid as I have no idea how to start as I’m focused on losing weight and what equipment to use and stuff and I don’t wanna look stupid doing it and any recommendations or advice would be majorly helpful ❤️❤️

Hi, I found an app, FitnessOnline that might help you with your workouts. It customises exercise based on your fitness goals, whether it’s home or gym. You can check it out. Might be helpful and don’t worry about how you look, everyone starts somewhere and you are doing great! xx.

See if the gym offers an induction, they can show you how to use the equipment, never go in without a plan, EVER, try the raize app (follow noellebenepe and raize) they have workout for everyday beginners etc, nutrition is 70% of training so ensure you get disciplined in that space, be patient with yourself it's a journey and most importantly don't take it so serious enjoy the process 😊 getting healthy should be fun not a chore. Good luck

As someone else said already, when you first go, go and speak to one of the staff and ask them if they can show you a simple workout to follow. If not then there are so many apps available which give you workouts and many have how to videos. Please don’t worry about what others think, no one there is paying any attention to you. Everyone is focused on themselves. Good luck 💪🏼

Your best bet is to use the fixed resistance machine to start. Ask a fitness instructor to help

Well done! Would really recommend signing up for an induction with a PT. It’s normally free, they will show you how each machine works. If it’s your first time ever at the gym, Start with a class as it will be less intimidating and it will build your confidence to go and use gym equipment by yourself. Don’t try and use equipment that you’ve never use before, even if you watch a YouTube video, the most viral part of having an effective work out is your form, even if you’re just running, bad form will lead to injuries so please speak to a professional or maybe go with a friend who has already started at the gym. If you’re looking to hit a certain target then I would recommend getting a PT. Good luck.
