You didn't fail him at all. I have had my babies fall off of beds. It literally takes like half a second for it to happen. Plus, if this is the worst thing that happens to a little boy, you're doing awesome. My baby (now 9) broke his collar bone at 3 and we have no clue how. Be gentle with yourself momma.
My baby fell out of his high chair one time by (obviously) pure accident, i definitely cried more than he did, i felt awful! you definitely didn’t fail him🫂 mistakes happen! I think every baby takes a fall at one point or another 🖤🫂
You did not fail him and this was just the first of maannnnyyyy falls to come 🩷 especially with a boy, he's gonna be flopping and dropping all over the place
My baby fell off the couch at 6 months and I cried with her lol. I was standing right night to her and I turned around to pick up a blanket and she reached for me at the same time. She was fine but I felt like crap for a whole month! It happens and you’re doing your best ❤️
My oldest fell off the bed at 2 weeks old, and her little sister kinda tries to push herself off. Babies are more durable than we think. My MIL says there's an old wives tale that says if a baby doesn't fall off the bed or couch before they're a year old, they'll have a short life. Her aunt was close to a year old and hadn't fell yet, so her mom put some padding down and pushed her off herself.
My baby fell off the bed prolly 8 months old or so and that’s when she first said mama but she cried a few minutes and tried round it again smiling bout it
You didn’t fail him. Most if not all babies fall. They’re not as fragile as we always want to think of them
