Nursery in Leeds Drop off 8am (we get there 8:15) Breakfast 9:30 Lunch 11:30 Tea 3:30 Collection until 6pm (I get him at 5:15) My boy usually naps after breakfast and before tea. Lots of app updates of playing and nappy changes inbetween x
I drop at 8am Breakfast 8:30am Snack 10am Lunch 11:30am High Tea/Picky Dinner 4:30am Pick up 6pm at the latest (I'd always go at 5pm) They try to follow our feeding and nap schedule. In between, lots of free play and socialising
@Hayley thanks for the reply . Could you explain more about what zoned play 9 months old would do? Firstly what is zoned play? Also pls explain dough and stickers . Thanks again x
@Sandrina different play areas that’s all - different things out in different areas 😉 Activities for them to engage or observe with. I’m an occupational therapist with adults so reflecting back to many years ago but the nurseries I viewed still did similar. Montessori however also have (older) kids “doing” eg sweeping / serving - life skills.
My 9 month old has just started nursery. She starts at 8 am. Breakfast at 900am Lunch at 1230pm Afternoon snack at 430am. They try and follow the nap and bottle schedule that we do at home, but obviously, it's difficult, especially with 5 other babies in the room, and my baby is easily distracted. There's a lot of free play where there are boxes of different types of toys around the room that they can go to as well as sensory boxes where they get to play with lots of different textures etc. In the baby class it's more about exploring and learning to play with other kids.
