I still use my plug in but I moved it into the hallway out of the front room where we are most the time so I can keep.the nice smell and with the airwick one you can turn the Strength down on rhe side so I've got it on Medium. I've got 2 cats myself so I know how your feeling and I've started using fairy on ours cloths as it's good for baby skin and it's smells amazing
I used Scentsy plug ins and lamps but always use less wax than they say so it's not over powering. The hallway one is on all day, I flick the kitchen one on for a couple of hours when I remember and the door is closed into the lounge and then the lounge one only comes on after my LO is in bed. The lamps are all on timers so I don't have to faff with them daily
I still use plug ins in the hall ways still & wash and spray down my sofa with room sprays when my little one’s napping or at night , but my dogs a cockapoo so doesn’t have the typical dog smell or shed, purdy & figg on all my hard surfaces. Does your dog get groomed regularly? Maybe bath once a week as someone said above. You can buy dog sprays online to keep them smelling fresh in between grooms Xx
I recommend washing the dog rather than scenting the house!
Milton tablet dissolved in glass bottle with water
Wash the dog once a week and blow dry him , the wet dog smell will go away, Pet floor wash 3x a week I use dettol religiously and I always use a scented vaporiser at the front door . I always find using strong products at night time when kids are asleep , by the morning the strong smell has gone down .
