Refusing to eat! 🤦🏼‍♀️

More advice needed! I have 15 month old twins and my daughter eats everything and anything but my son seems to be refusing to eat or try anything new. He will nit pick at things but if he touches his food and doesn't like how it feels he won't eat it. He will try a tiny bit off his sisters plate but not his own

Totally normal(: I have a super funny screen recording of a pediatrician explaining why toddlers don't eat if you want me to send it to you 🫶🏻 but basically they triple their size in the first year and then growth slows waayyyyyy down and they don't need as many nutrients because they aren't growing as much, teething molars at this stage is a super common regression with eating, plus babes stomachs are only the size of their little fists, and since they aren't growing as much their body is actually able to take the nutrients they eat one day and spread them throughout multiple days for their bodies needs, and lastly, a healthy baby will never starve themselves, if he's truly hungry he will eat. Let him be in control of how much, if any, he eats, and take the stress and pressure away from yourself and him at meal times. They're gonna go through stages of GRUBBING and then eating nothing for weeks, it's all totally normal. Just ride the waves and don't stress over it 🫶🏻
