TRAVEL HELP VISITING NOR CAL

Hi I’m from so cal, but planning a trip with my 6month old up north. My goal is to go to Carmel by the sea and Monterey bay aquarium. Do you have any advice where to go, eat, stay that’s baby friendly? 🫶🏼 (or if you recommend any other stops up north to visit)

The hotels on Carmel are BEAUTIFUL. Save for that trip! It can get very expensive. Have so much fun!

What’s your budget? I have bougie Carmel recos and budget Carmel recos. 😂

@Ali wait I want to know too!! We LOVE Carmel but have only day visited shortly

I recommend taking scenic rd drive from north to south in Carmel by the sea and stopping at Carmel River State Park! I absolutely love Carmel by the Sea! But yeah it’s bougie so i recommend eating in Cannery Row and driving through Carmel by the Sea! It’s such a quaint town!! With the absolute most fairy tale story book houses ever!

And stops up north.. depends on how far north… Santa Cruz beach boardwalk is amazing! Also capitols is a nice town that has a hotel right off the beach near margaritavile

But if you go to Santa Cruz you gotta see the roaring rail camp!! It’s a steam engine that takes you through the railroads!! And the mystery spot in Santa Cruz too!
