Beach essentials for babies!

Taking the baby to the beach this weekend.
So what all should I be packing for a smooth beach family day with a 9 month old?

Toys!! I’d bring fresh water to put in his or her own blow up pool with shade also
@Catherine some beaches are banning those tents and only allowing umbrellas. We took baby to NC and the Myrtle beach police told me the pop up tents of all kinds are banned 😭 We had to go buy an umbrella
@Asia why are they banned??
@Catherine cuz they are a “hazard” and may fly away and injure someone. That’s what I was told. We bought one for no reason down there.
@Asia they’re so smalll though, I feel like an umbrella would be worse because it has a sharp pole 😂 anyway good to know, thanks!
@Catherine that’s exactly what we said. Umbrellas seem far more dangerous 🙄
