Running. The most efficient calorie burn. I trained for a Ragnar Relay after my first (while breastfeeding) and was in the best shape of my life when I got pregnant with my second - right at the start of Covid. I had been doing other cardio classes too (Pound and yoga mainly). First trimester and gym shutdowns killed my routine, then summer in the south was too hot, and I haven't recovered since. It was a lot harder to find time to exercise with 2 though. I got a Peloton and joined an amazing weight training group (hardCORE on the floor) to do the Peloton strength classes, but it's hard. Give yourself grace and embrace your body that is sustaining 2 tiny humans sucking all the energy out of you. I don't mean just give up, but don't beat yourself up if it's slow going. Drink lots of water and try to find healthy protein snacks for breastfeeding munchies.

The peloton saved me , mentally and physically . So easy when you don’t have to drag yourself to tje gym and this was the only workout I could fit in with my adorable but very fussy baby.
