Owlet sock

I have the owlet camera & sock but am yet to use the sock. The alarm makes a very loud noise and I worry about it waking up my other child. But I will be putting the sock on her when she goes into her own room. I’m just busy plotting where I will put the owlet base so that it will be audible but not wake up the entire house (I am a very light sleeper so will hear it).
Thank you both! I already have a monitor camera - do you think the Owlet one offers anything unique to warrant getting a new one, or better off just getting the sock?xx @Victoria @Samantha
No advice on owlet but just to say there is absolutely no rush to move baby into their own room I know there seems to be all this pressure to have them out by 6m. Obviously space allowing we just put the cot in our room for now. I talked myself out of an owlet before he was born as there was more of a chance it would feed my anxiety rather than ease it just something to think about x
No, I wouldn’t worry about getting the whole owlet system then if you have a monitor camera. I guess it’s all just on one app which may make it easier but don’t “waste” your money. I’m not moving my baby into her own room now at 6months. We are happy with how it’s working out now and she can still be in her bassinet size wise.
I have one and it gives me so much reassurance during the night!
