Hungry/missing out

Just wondering if anyone’s little ones are the same… My little girl has 1 meal a day as she’s not quite 6 months and has been on purées and finger foods for 2ish weeks. However, I sit her in either her high chair or bouncer every time I eat and she goes nuts!! She’ll try and grab the food off my plate and shout/cry at me as if she wants something to eat too. The only way she’ll calm down is if I give her a melty puff to chomp/suck on. Ive tried giving a toy or high value item but she just chucks it away until she gets that melty puff or veg stick 😂 Is this normal behaviour or do I just have a hungry baby who wants every meal with us?

My first son was a hungry baby exactly like this, he was on three meals a day and starting to refuse milk by 8mo, wasn't the best but wasn't a bad thing either, he's had his moments of eating less/more and since 1 has refused all veg completely, but he'll eat everything else 🤣

my little girl is like this. Only started weaning a week ago and moved on to 2 meals a day now. She eats with us and has now dropped a milk feed x

Why don’t you just give her some actual food when you eat? Very little actually goes in at this age as it’s all about learning eating habits, it’ll be more nutritional than puffs and probably keep her happier?

Just give her some food if she wants it. Xx

I offer my girly food for every meal that I have, she gets angry if she's not eating if I am 😂x

Yes. Just give her some food. Mines on 2 meals but I’m about to up it to 3 . He turned 6 months last week and we’ve been weaning since 1sf Jan

Will definitely give her some more meals! I was worried I’d over feed her but I guess she’s just a foodie like her mama 😂

We've also upped to two meals after just under 3 weeks of food! Felt he was ready and he's been enjoying it x

Give her more food, same as what you’re eating just accommodate to her age. She’s ready and hungry 😂🤍

We can't eat or drink anything without our girl screaming for it. She has the same food at the same time as us now x
