I spent around 600 on food and decorations
I made rice, pernil, pastelon, and mac and cheese, and a cake and spent about $300. We spent $100 on decoration and gift bags (finger puppets and stickers), another $30 on games. I cooked everything myself. My wife made the cake from scratch. We had it at home so there was no cost for venues or anything. Everyone came dressed up in 70s theme (one groovy year) 🤣❤️ This year we've spent $121 on decorations & gift bags, which included a stuffed animal to adopt for the kids. $120 for food this year, $30 for precut fruit for just the kids, $15 for sandwiches, and we had everything we need to make the cake so that's costing $0. Having it at a park and so it's free.
For my oldest about $1,200 my second was $200
Planning my daughters 1st birthday and on decorations, food, goodies, treats, and cake we are spending around $200. I forgot, the chair rentals and a piñata is an additional $100. So total $300
Maybe around $500. I didn’t keep track and if I did then, I don’t remember. We did a cake from Publix and grilled hamburgers with sides. We had the party at home and just did basic decorations. We had to rent tables and chairs.
Too damn much!
We have a huge family and guest list. We rented a private room at Mexican restaurant. All food, drinks, tables chairs, plates, etc, included. No set up, no clean up, no stress. It's $2,000. We probably would have spent more trying to do it at home and it would have been more stressful.
About $1500 food, treat bags, cake/cupcake, decorations & place (if it’s home could be less)
I don't remember but if I had to guess $500 or less. For our kids we've done larger first birthdays where we invite everyone and then smaller parties at home after that. So we did rent a place to do the 1st birthdays. My summer kids were a lot cheaper because we did pavilions. Had to do an indoor rental for my January babe. I did some decorations, snacks, cake and ice cream, drinks.
😂😂🤌🏽 for my sons first birthday yall I spent under $100 I get having it nice but yall really went all out; I was short on chips and had a budget; so I decorated and kept it in house no big plans or anything and it came out wonderful. I made it work with what was given

Planning mine right now but probably about $1,000 between cake, treats, food, drinks and decoration. I don't plan on spending this much every year, but want the first one to be special.
