My boy is 9 weeks and wears 3 - 6 month clothing and size 2 nappies. He's 11lb the correct weight for his age, which brand of nappy are you using, I find Pampers are quite generously sized. If it would put your mind at ease take your baby to be weighed.
@Scarlet 🤍 I’m glad it’s not just us then thank you!
@Nicole yes we use pampers premium protection nappies - I’m not sure where can get them weighed and don’t have any health visitor appointments now. Might just give them a ring and see if can pop in for a weigh in. Thank you.
They weighed my boy before his 8 week immunisations. Health visiting team often run local clinics for weekly weigh ins, yeah definitely give them a call and they can sort it for you.
My son went into 3-6 at 5 weeks old and now has been in 6-9 since 12 weeks. He's following 91st centiles for height and weight so it's to be expected! There's nothing to worry about, only that a lot of clothes might only get worn once before they're too small 😂
Depending on where you are you should be able to go to a drop in to get him weighed or you can order a baby and family scale off Amazon (I did that). My HV said I can weigh my baby and plot it in his red book to see what percentile he’s in. Also, I was told by the doctor that baby’s weight would be a concern if baby was in the 95th percentile. If you want the link to the scale I got let me know 😊
This is the scale I got. The HV used both hers and mine for comparison and there was only a tiny difference 0.06kg which she said was absolutely fine. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Simshine-Digital-Baby-Weighing-Newborn/dp/B0BZW29832/ref=pd_aw_ci_mcx_mh_mcx_views_0_image?pd_rd_w=iDcVm&content-id=amzn1.sym.447d135b-0582-4b0d-8811-df964ba59044%3Aamzn1.symc.aded5f8f-4764-433a-af3c-cae2ef910974&pf_rd_p=447d135b-0582-4b0d-8811-df964ba59044&pf_rd_r=W4XAACRFFBXE72CSSJQ0&pd_rd_wg=PeLV6&pd_rd_r=76becc35-2ac2-488a-98ef-e9b113aab6b9&pd_rd_i=B0BZW29832
My baby is 8 weeks and already in 3-6, so I wouldn’t worry!
