Any tips for working out mat leave
My husband and I are trying to work out how best to take shared parental leave, and are getting stuck. There are lots of different things you’re entitled to but we can’t work out the different options and are struggling to work out what’s best. Has anyone found a good way of doing this or a calculator online to help?

Hi I work in HR, shared parental leave is an absolute minefield to be honest, when it first came in all the HR community were scrambling to get their heads round it! I can try and answer a specific question if that would help? Do either of your employers offer enhanced Mat or Pat pay? Or is it statutory at both? That’s a good place to start to work out how to maximise.
