Hi I work in HR, shared parental leave is an absolute minefield to be honest, when it first came in all the HR community were scrambling to get their heads round it! I can try and answer a specific question if that would help? Do either of your employers offer enhanced Mat or Pat pay? Or is it statutory at both? That’s a good place to start to work out how to maximise.
Following as I am also so confused!
