Obstetric cholestasis

Hi! Anyone who’s had this in pregnancy, when did you deliver?? I’m 36 weeks today and only just been diagnosed with this, it’s my second pregnancy with this condition. Last one I was induced at 38+1, but I found out I had it much earlier… maybe week 31-32 ish. Because I’m quite late I’m not sure how long they’ll let me go. I was going to have an elective section at week 39 due to ptsd reasons.

Side note* I will know by tomorrow as I’ve got to go back in for monitoring, bloods, scan and consultant and we’ll set a date. But I’m nervous & thinking I should really be packing my hospital bag as I sit and write this and maybe even take it with me.

I had this with my second pregnancy (and first) and she came at 37+2. Pack your bag mama and you’ll be fine xxx

My levels have gone over 100 so I have to be induced by 37 weeks. My labour with my first born (non cholestasis) started 36.5 so I’m expecting to go into labour either way soon 😬
