Meal ideas

Hey Can anyone give any ideas for 9 month old dinner ideas 😭 I feel like I’m giving the same meals all the time and little boy is now more keen on finger foods and feeding himself. TIA

I just found all of these the other day. https://www.nhs.uk/start-for-life/baby/recipes-and-meal-ideas/?q=&Baby%27s+age=OR&Baby%27s+age=10+to+12+months&Meal+type=OR

Check out blw pages on Facebook as they are full of ideas! Generally he eats what we eat though

Sausage and mash and green beans Pasta chicken dippers and beans Chicken, sweet potato and broccoli Meatballs and spaghetti Stirfry Fish, sweet potato and green beans Xx

Baby just had potato cake and scrambled egg.

Can you give him smaller portions of whatever you're having?

Just gave mixed veg, rice and egg

i feel the same! my little boy can’t have milk either and everything people suggest requires it in some form🥲

We had pasta bolognaise bake the other night and my 9 month old absolutely INHALED it. I made it with rigatoni as he finds it easy to pick up and he smashed in his portion as well as a few slices of banana and some cucumber. Tonight we had piri piri chicken with rice and veg. The spice took him by surprise initially but he enjoyed it!

Any Instagram page links for idea please?

Pesto pasta!

Our daughter has whatever we have. She’s had everything from chilli, jacket potato, roast dinners, quesadillas, burgers, sausages and mash, jerk chicken and dumplings, pasta dishes, Chinese dishes etc. we just cut up some foods different for her and she loves it. This and the fact she feels cheated if she has something different

What time are we having dinner? I never have our meal fixed by the time I need the feed the baby 🙃

@Tasha we all eat as a family approx 5:30pm, we have a toddler as well

The whatmummymakes recipe books are great for meals for both you and baby so you don’t have to cook twice
