It didn't happen for me but I didn't have any pain with my first either 🤷♀️ Sometimes my nipples were a little sore in-between feeds but I just used nipple butter and silverettes.

I don’t remember the engorgement hurting as bad with my second. However I was surprised that my nipples still hurt a lot the first few days! Even though I had just stopped breastfeeding my first 7 months before my second was born, the nips still took a little adjusting.
A ton of pain with my first, no pain at all with my second. Every bf journey is different

Yes it was just as bad the first week. I was slightly surprised because my first had a terrible latch and tongue tie that was horribly painful but my second had a perfect latch in seconds. I ended up using nipple cream every time I nursed which helped and chewed ice to distract from the pain lol
Sadly yes! I thought it wouldn’t be as painful since I nursed my first for 20 Months and had only stopped for like 4 months before the new baby came. But it was still super painful at the beginning. It was easier in the sense that I knew the pain was temporary
