Meal ideas

Anyone got any good meal ideas? I’ve got a toddler as well as a four month old and by the time it comes to cooking us dinner in the evening, I cannot be bothered to think about what to cook or even cook at all!! I’m exhausted.

I love glass bowl meal preps! Whack the ingredients in, bake for however long and its done! I tend to get the recipes off tiktok or Instagram xx

Tray bakes are a godsend in our house, can mix up what you fancy but chuck it all in a tray and roast! We do some variation of chicken legs, sausages or salmon fillets with potatoes, carrots, pepper, butternut squash, anything really! Loads of herbs or spices, all in one tray for about 45 mins and we always have plenty leftover for my lunch the next day. We do stir fry often too, loads of veggies and again make enough so I have food ready for the following day x

I've used one of the meal providers since I had my first baby, hello fresh or gousto. Can't be bothered to think of what to eat and do grocery shopping, makes it a lot easier. I tend to cook in the afternoon and just reheat at dinner time. They usually have good start deals and then if you cancel they'll offer you a deal again soon. I basically do one for a month and alternate that way I always get about 30% off. You can pick quick recipes, tray bakes etc so I pick the easiest stuff to cook. Let me know if you want to try it as I think I can send a code for a free box.

Thanks all X

Do you have an air fryer? I find the fastest easiest meals come from the air fryer when I really can't be asked. Just keep some chicken in the fridge and salmon in the freezer for easy dinners. I just throw a protein + 1 veg in the air fryer with salt and pepper for about 10 minutes and put a microwave rice on for 2 minutes and boom done. Protein+ veg+ rice in about 10 mins... Perfect for toddler and baby

I'm the same and either love the slow cooker as you can get it on in the morning or we got an airfryer for Christmas and I have used that loads!
