How to calculate age of LO

This may be a dumb question, I’m probably overthinking it tbh but idk 🤷‍♀️ My baby was born on New Year’s Eve 2024.. would that make today 1 month old? It’s 4 weeks from the birth date so I’m not sure 😂 & do I have to keep counting by weeks to be accurate or is there a simpler way to go about this? I think it’s confusing bc not every month has a 31st so it’s throwing me off a lil bit lol

We’re saying that today is 1 month! Our baby boy was also born NYE 2024 :)

Counting by weeks not day of the month since it changes

OMG NO my baby was born on new years eve and I thought I had till fridayyyyy till he was a month 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

They are four weeks. They will be a month on Jan 31. Not all months have four weeks. So you go by the day date for months.

Just used the last day of each month for monthly milestones 📅

I use the date (eg 16th) as the monthly milestone, but still count in weeks for everything else (eg every Monday is a new week)

There are 30.4 days on average in a month. Just easier to go by the day of the month! (Trickier being born on the 31, so you might just do the last day of the month haha)
