Blood thinner Injection friends
Hi! Was wondering if anyone in the group also has to inject blood thinners? I did my first today and DANG that hurt more than I was expecting. Any advice is much appreciated 🙏🏼 also had my husband do it and he has to travel for work, how can I do this myself 😅

@Anna👼👶👼👼 yes, I’m on lovenox - I’ve had pulmonary embolisms unrelated to pregnancy in the past so it was recommended. I’m like I have to do this throughout the entire pregnancy 😅
Good God girl I'm so sorry. Are there any other options? They told me I'd have to inject into my stomach and I was like "....eek" is there a topical numbing cream or something you can use? Maybe ice?
They recommended that I do lovenox but I declined because I'm past the point where I lost my previous pregnancies. Also I was terrified lol and I'm not even needle averse!
