My baby cries every time I eat

Is it just me or does your baby always start crying when you try to eat something. Whether it’s a snack or a full course meal no matter the time of day my son will start to cry as soon as I start to either make something or right as I take my first bite. It’s like he wants me to starve. And all his boxes are checked like he won’t need anything other than a diaper change some times bc I make sure he’s all good before I even think about eating. But it’s every single time I want to eat even the smallest thing just so I can function he will start screaming his lungs out. Please tell me I’m not the only one who experiences this. The only time I can eat is if I let him cry or if someone helps me by taking him so I can eat and I hate letting him just sit there and cry because it makes me feel like a shit parent but some times I feel like it’s my only option bc he just won’t stop unless I pay him some type of attention.
