Your baby will 10000493039% nap differently at nursery and the nursery will find the best way to do that, if he needs shushing, rocked etc they will find a way to do it. My 9 month old has been at nursery for the last 3 weeks, and she absolutely loves it. She's always learning something new, the staff are wonderful, and I'm getting constant updates from them throughout the day.
My little girl started nursery at the beginning of January, she's done amazing, no cries going in, eats all her food, super sociable with the other babies, she loves it, I get sent photos of her playing and she's always smiling 😊 I wouldn't worry too much about the naps, my little girl is rubbish at all sleep but the nursery workers will do whatever you want them to and your baby will be tired and they will sleep. They get my little girl to sleep in their arms before transferring her to one of the cribs but she never does more than 45mins anyway
Agree with @Jayde 100%. I don’t know how they do it but nursery workers can work miracles on babies and toddlers. They get so tired out at nursery they don’t fight naps so much. You’ll also find that good they reject at home they will happily eat at nursery, little scamps x
Once your child gets into the routine of nursery you will deffo see a change in his naps so don't worry, I. Had kids come to nursery that don't eat at home but will eat everything with no issue , kids will normally follow the routine at nursery well.
They're miracle workers honestly! They will find a new way to soothe your little one I promise. Just as an aside, if you do want to send your little one to nursery soon, I'd get looking asap as so many places have huge waiting lists x
They will have no trouble getting her to nap. The nursery staff are better than me at that. My lo has been loving nursery week 3 for him now . He's coming along so much faster than he was too , I second that waiting lists are bad for nurseries x
Sounds strange but I thought the same my son would inly contact nap pr in the pram but honestly nurseries work wonders and get them to sleep it's mad !
Thank you everyone 🙏🏼
They just do some shushing and patting and the babies adapt. They can’t stop napping. My son started at 13 months and loved it and my daughter will start at 11 months in April. I think it helps them develop their skills and I am personally happy with my decision. x
