Shaving

To shave or not to shave... first-time pregnancy here, and I usually shave down there, and I'm wondering if I should continue shaving leading up to birth? I've heard they shave you anyway if you don't, but I'm not sure how accurate that is.

I stopped shaving around 30 weeks. I’ve been trimming. Shaving has possibilities of catching some skin on blade, which could lead to complications.

I usually shave the whole time except around I would say 35 weeks

I don’t think they shave you.. never heard of that! They say that it is not really safe to shave after 36 weeks because it increase the risk of infection, even if you plan on a C-Section 🤷‍♀️ If you have a C-Section, they will just shave you where there is an incision… I don’t think they Care about your grooming habits😅

I was getting waxed. I last waxed a month ago. I’m so drained and it’s not super hairy down there so I’m like fuck it. If it got bad at this point I would just trim

I get waxed But they’ve seen hundreds of thousands of vaginas with hair it won’t bother them or make them blink twice, it’s normal. I wouldn’t stress about it i couldn’t imagine shaving my vagina especially this far in the game i can’t see it barely can reach the way i want to

I’m 38 almost 39 weeks and I just did my last full shave. Like bald I always have done it with my last pregnancy I will say it was a work out 🤣

They do not shave you, total preference! They also do not care at allll. The only reason I’m going to try to shave this time is because I think it’ll be harder to clean all the blood and stuff out of

I made a feeble attempt to shave before my 36 wk appointment and it was a humbling experience. Will not be doing that again until bump is gone!

36 weeks and I’ve been getting waxed the entire time.

Trimming only!

My husband uses clippers and gives me a nice bald fade 😂 I’ll probably get shaped up again next week (week 39) and they will get whatever hair grows until baby comes
