Should I kick someone out of my wedding for different political beliefs? I was gonna ignore it but I saw him get in a debate on FB with my old history teacher and it rubbed me the wrong way. Like the way he argued was comepletly immature calling the person with 4 years of education and a literaI history teacher wrong. Without doing any research. I don’t wanna be the cause of more devide but I also have trans/ gay/ Hispanic, and POC coming to the wedding. Mind you this man was defending Elon musk. Which was what the debate started about but it comeplty escalated and left me thinking lower of him.

As i tell everyone who is having a wedding… This is YOUR wedding and you can do as you wish on your special day. You dont have to give in to anything you aren’t comfortable with on your day!🫶🏻

If he is in your wedding party you obviously have a good relationship with him. Maybe have a conversation with him beforehand and explain to him that his beliefs are not going to interfere with your day then proceed after you see how he reacts to that

It’s either he accepts the fact he’s been uninvited OR he doesn’t and crashes your wedding. I never said he had to know WHY I just said he has to get the point.
