I’ve got an anterior placenta, I went in a lot of times between 26 and 28 weeks and then at 28 weeks the movements suddenly felt a long stronger and I noticed what times he was moving the most, always listen to your body if you feel something is wrong or you need to check baby is okay then go in, they’d rather see you than not see you
As strange as it sounds I've got a posterior placenta and I feel baby move a lot but I can't necessarily pin down a pattern with him and I'm almost 28 weeks? X
I have an anterior placenta and went in a lot between 26 and 29 weeks , but from 29 I started to feel stronger movements and a good pattern, try not to worry it will come x
Babies tend to start developing a proper pattern around 28weeks. However if you feel baby is very active in the morning and then the evening, that’s most likely baby’s pattern. It may change though. With movements it’s more about high levels of activity (if that makes sense) so you should feel a movement (a kick, a roll etc) every now and then during the day but there’s usually a time of the day baby may be very active. I used to feel my baby early hours in the morning and then in the night but she’d kick me every now and then during the day. Especially when I ate.
I’m 28 weeks & still don’t have a pattern. She just kicks every now and then sometimes feel more when I’m in bed but I worry so much as I don’t have a pattern yet or know what to look out for. I think it will come between now and the next couple weeks for us by the sounds of it x
I have an anterior placenta also. My consultant said to just keep coming in if unsure as she would rather I come in to be safe than there be any issues. We lost our first son at 36+2 in October 2023 and the constant terror over movements is always there so I get the stress you're feeling. All I can say is go with your gut and if you feel there is an issue or just need reassurance then go up and get your little one checked. Sorry I can't be of more help but here if you need a chat xx
