Early stages it’s about survival! I lived off toast, potato waffles and Harribo until about 16 weeks because my sickness was horrendous, everything smelt repulsive and left a horrible taste in my mouth and the antisickness, while they got rid of the sickness made me crazy drowsy and caused horrible headaches!
I was the same although in the first trimester, I couldn’t keep anything down. It’s better for you to eat than not eat so don’t be so hard on yourself. As long as everything is in moderation, you’ll be fine. If the baby wants fast food, buy fast food xx
Yeah the whole first trimester I just ate whatever I wanted tbh as the sickness was in charge 😂 I don’t think you have to worry too much, everyone I’ve spoken to including midwives have said 1st tri is just about survival!
I fear my pregnancy consisted of McDonald’s, double helpings at dinner, cans of coke and dairy milk 🙃🤣
@Laura I could’ve written this myself!! maccies, coke and dairy milk were my cravings too 🤣
I had really bad sickness and nausea so I ate whatever I could stomach and what was alright coming back up 🤣🤦🏼♀️
Omg same I literally lived off sweet my first trimester. I don’t crave them now so I’m happy about that
I’ve eaten whatever I’ve wanted my whole pregnancy and I have a healthy baby boy at 38 weeks❤️eat what your body’s wants x
From 10-13 weeks the only thing I ate was McDonald’s chicken nuggets as it was the only thing I fancied and could stomach with the morning sickness, by about 14 weeks my appetite went somewhat back to normal (fruits and veg etc) but I just had a larger appetite
For the first 14 weeks I was so ill I lived off toast and maccies hash browns!
I am a hige believer that your body knows what it needs. If you are eating fast food I suspect your body is craving lots of fats and carbs so as long as you are delivering 👶 will be happy 😊
