Almost anything. If you don't want to do purees then you can just make things cooked enough for baby to gum. Or already soft stuff like avocado. My boy is 6 months and his first food was steak and he only has 2 teeth. He just sucked and gummed it mostly but it helps with motor skills and got him excited about food.

Haha God I wish mine was like yours Gypsy! My almost 1 Yr old has about 8 teeth but is crap with his food and can't chew!! Lol!!!

Their gums are strong enough to chew through pretty much anything hun. Feed him whatever you’re eating 😊

thank you. . I guess I' was being overly cautious afraid he will choke. Imma try giving him some soft pasta and sauce I know he wants other foods but I didn't know I could try other solids. Mine is 1 and chews with front teeth no back teeth in yet. Didn't know they had strong gums like that.

Mine can't handle bread or anything like that yet, or can't seem to be able to 😭😭

So if you can mash it with the back of a fork, your son’s gums can chew it. I use the solid starts data base for size of foods. But if you want to start with small diced that might help. Toast strips are good. French toast is also good. My son like soup, but I just give him the plain broth in a mug that I feed him. And he gets the diced chicken and veggies in a bowl.

I would recommend following @solidstarts @101beforeone and @the.baby.dietitian on Instagram. It’s important to be offering him as many different flavors and textures as you can during that first year! If you can make it soft and mash it between your fingers, he can handle it even if he doesn’t have all of his teeth. I printed out this checklist and would just try a new food every couple of days. Have fun with it! Eat with him and let it be enjoyable. Trust me, he will like more than oatmeal and yogurt if you give him more options!

Eggs ,peanut butter, apple sauce ,French toast ,softened vegetables ,soups , Cheerios, chicken , ground meat

Toast chips and crisps anything that’s soggy

All sorts! My daughter only got her first two teeth at one years old, but from 6 months she was eating a variety of things. Started off with broccoli, avocado etc. If the food can be squished between your fingers it's perfect. Mash potato, veggie stews, fish is a great option, salmon. Even meat stews where the meat is falling apart. It's so important that they get a varied and balanced diet from as early as possible. I read the book 'How to Wean your Baby' and it gave a step by step guide of what to feed them for the first 30 days.

Anything. Babies don't need teeth to chew. The Solid Starts app can tell you how to cut things for baby. Don't go by the age recommendations is you haven't been doing too much BLW already. Start easy with soft foods (eggs, fruit, steamed veggies) than work your way to the more advanced preparations when baby is ready. Also, our pediatrician recommended Cheerios as a good crunch texture early on because they also melt in the mouth pretty easily.
