We had a nipt at 10/11 weeks pregnant. I'm glad we did it and that's how I actually found out I was pregnant with twins. Found it useful but it is expensive
The natera panorama is the most accurate for twins, my insurance actually pays for it. I'm having didi fraternal twins, I did it at 12.5 weeks and 15 weeks and both came back inconclusive because with twins it takes longer to get enough DNA in your system, but with you having identical twins it may not be as difficult. I'm waiting until 21 weeks to retake it so that hopefully it will actually give me results. I'm 18.5 weeks and still don't know my babies' genders 🤦🏻♀️ I knew at 12 weeks by NIPT with my son.
I’m not sure which one we did but we were on the fence about going through with a twin pregnancy to begin with so we wanted as much information as possible to make our decision. It did cost a fortune but I got it covered by insurance. The results were all good
@Letícia that's great to hear! Were your twins different gender/fraternal and not identical?
@Nell oh that's interesting! Most people do early reassurance scans instead

@Evija they covered the first two, so I don't see why they wouldn't cover the third. It was able to tell that they're fraternal twins, I'm hoping they will be able to tell me their genders at my anatomy scan next week and I wont be too stressed about the NIPT coming back inconclusive. Im hoping for boy girl, but I'm afraid we may be having boy boy twins 🤦🏻♀️
@Cheyann no worries, I don't really know how insurance works as it's not that common to have one in Europe. Haha, I think I would prefer boy and girl too but very slim chance with identical now. I wouldn't worry about bloods too, sometimes they're lucky even to get some out of us (could be small hidden veins, lack of fluids and what not)
I’ve done the Natera Panorama test and I was very pleased with it, it took only a week to get the results back. Because you are having MoMo twins it should show their gender more precisely, for me I have DiDi twins so there was a small chance the gender to be wrong depending if they are identical or not.
