For me they're hereditary so I don't even really think about it. Some day I'll probably have surgery or whatever procedure done to reduce them.

@Robyn No, I don't even notice them. I have a horrible one on the back of one knee that's been there for idk like 20 years? I waitressed on and off for over a decade, that didn't help things. Maybe whatever causes them specifically in pregnancy makes them painful?
@Robyn ugh I’m sorry!! Yeah one of my calves is covered in them, they are kind of itchy and painful and it looks like starting to spread to front of leg and maybe starting on other leg! Do you have a link to compression socks you’ve liked??

They aren't as obvious as other socks and you get used to how they feel.
I got them with this second pregnancy too and in super awful places 😭 my midwife recommended compression tights or socks and a support band for my stomach. Those have helped! Also don't stand or sit for too long and drink lots of fluids.
