Has your period started again?

Only just this week - and was so heavy, needed maternity pads for 2 days 😩

Mine hasn’t yet, baby has just turned 11 months which is when it came back with my first baby. I am breastfeeding and also have PCOS

I haven’t had anything yet, I keep getting period pains and acne which I only got during periods yet nothing, I did have the injection twice but came off it in September so no idea what’s going on anymore

@Laura 🫨 omg that sounds horrible. I usually have super light periods I can get away with a panty liner and it's only 3 days so I can't imagine if it's really heavy!

@Jessica OK interesting, so my boy is 10 months and I'm also breastfeeding but I'm definitely feeling all the period signs and all my spots are coming back 🥲. I've enjoyed being period free!

@Ellisha yes same with the aches and pains and spots but nothing!

Are yous saying you haven’t had a period since giving birth?? I never knew they could take this long to come back, I got mine after about 12weeks pp🙃🤣

@Jena I’ve not any period since I got pregnant so will be coming up to two years soon since I last had one. Love not having them but it also worries me at the same time

@Ellisha That’s crazy! I’m guessing it doesn’t make a difference if you had natural or cesarean?

@Jena I had a section but they said it shouldn’t make a difference but I have no idea tbh they said the injection for contraception shouldn’t stop it but could delay it and I’ve not had one in 5 months so it should be coming back

@Jena lol yhhh nothing at all! But I'm feeling all the symptoms again! Yours came at 12 weeks ahh gosh that's not fun 😁

@Ellisha Oh right okay. I had a section too, stopped bleeding after 1 week then period returned around 12 weeks, super heavy

Haha yeah it sounds so strange how long it’s been but I know they told me you can still possibly get pregnant without realising too

Yeah it wasn’t fun; but all done now! I think it was worse that it coincided with my first two days back at work 🫠 I had spotting and light bleeding for a couple of months in the run up (for like 6-10 days at a time). I pumped until 7.5monthe pp and have pcos too x
